Hey guys and girls. We had a great time out there with you all this weekend. Thank you so much for making this the best AP CQC Event yet. We invite you to post all of your stories or any comments that will help us make CQC8 even better. _________________ You and your stupid F*ing rope...

Sustains:
-Immersive Environment: Props, actors, sets were well done. You guys did a good job with the look and feel of what was supposed to be happening.
-Interesting setting on a simple scenario. We all know that sooner or later the types of duties the team's perform become basic. With this event, you layered on some new problems to deal with.
-Connected Scenarios: Easy for the participants to follow. You had them live the "book".
Improves:
-Improve the clarity of scoring. It is difficult to determine what happened by the scoring and why.
-Powerpoint briefings are great if they are well done. Overhead shots of paragraphs of information has little use if the teams can't either digest it, or read it.
-OP Orders. Showing up to the scene without any prior information as to what is going to happen, especially with the proposed FBI HRT unit, is just a little too hard to bite. Providing an OPORD to the participants prior to the event will provide them the necessary time to train to the mission they are going to participate in. Otherwise it becomes a chainsaw reaction to a scalple situation. _________________

Thanks for the heads up! More time to debrief would have been nice, and given more time to cite the specific reasons for losing point, etc. We're definitely going to be improving that next time, or finding a way to incorporate notes. _________________
